Christmas ornaments crafts: ragball snow

This Christmas Craft Ornament Snow Ragball can decorate a table, or sit on a tree. Here is a fun centerpiece that is enjoyable to make.

This decoration is a little time-consuming but well worth the effort. You can use it as a centerpiece, decorate a focal point for your room, or sit it on the branch of a tree.

Ragball Snow Ornament

Supplies:

Cream colored fabric (enough to cover foam ball)

plastic foam ball (Used to make Head)

black sock

Acorns or peppercorns (For eyes and mouth)

Pointed stick or twig, 1 1/2" (For Nose)

Plaid material (for Scarf)

Glue Gun

Needle

Optional:

buttons, tiny pinecones, bells, birds, holly, etc.

Description:

Cover ball with fabric, securing the ends of the fabric to the bottom of the ball with the hot glue gun.

Take black sock, cut off ribbed cuff section. Slip sock over head and glue in place.

Glue Acorns or Peppercorns to face. Use two for eyes, and at least six or more for mouth.

Press Stick firmly into middle of ball to make nose. Once centered correctly, remove and re-attache with glue gun, pressing stick firmly into foam ball. Hold in place until the glue sets.

Using plaid fabric, wrap around head and fix scarf as desired. Once in place, use glue gun to attach fabric together.

Congratulations, your ragball is finished.

You may decorate scarf with buttons, bells, tiny birds attached to hat, green garland underneath the head, etcetera. The possibilities are endless.
